How big will the patch notes be for the beta?

it'll be massive. There will be bugs that got introduced months ago that get found on day one of the beta test.
The bugs wont be fixed because they'll be too hard to track down in time for release
We'll live with said bugs for months after release until they are eventually corrected or replaced by new ones.

OT: patch notes will be large enough to cover the torn knees on my trousers ( I hope ).

Excuse the dumb question (been a while since I've participated in a beta) ... do we actually get patch notes? I thought those only came with the release version?
Yes, usually a few minutes after the beta is out.
