This comical "imposed grind wall" is some of the most impressive negative forum whinging I've seen to date.
And I have a sneaky suspicion that after a few weeks (possibly months) post-launch,
The Tripple material reward implemented shortly after 2.1 Engineer debut, will be removed,
Because material collection will be too easy, with all the impressive shortening of game loops
storage upped from 1000 to 11,200.
So it pays to scoop those surplus common materials.
Because you can spend 3 hours searching in the SRV for that rare, and instead of turning off the game and leaving the computer in a huff,
you can now just trade in your hard work for your justifiable reward.
But considering the planetary graphics now hint from orbit the RNG material bias, this should be a less of a problem (asteroids next FDEV's ?)
After a few weeks of 3x rewards of common materials flooding and maxing out people 100unit cap, they'll start trading in as a part of a routine so they can collect more common materials, even if they aren't engineering. After a few months, material trading will be a common housekeeping procedure (instead of jettisonning unwanted materials spamming your storage).
So a few weeks of this people material bins are going to be a flood with grade1-4 materials.
These nay-sayers whinging about this magical grind wall, will be g out about the ease and accessibility of the new system, that bill number who just scoops everything and just housekeeps their stash via the broker, can get a grade5 in less than 3 minutes.
So FDEV will suggest the 3x mat reward will be reduced to 1x like it was in the begining.
To which the nay-sayers who have just acclimatised, will start g out how FDEV don't understand the gamers and how they keep imposing grind, or as I like to call it, activities I enjoy doing that reward my time and effort I put into the game (which the tripple RNG system of 2.X did not do)
