Chieftain's Canopy too weak

Are you the only only one that thinks the chieftain's canopy is way to weak, especially for a combat oriented ship only ?

Frontier should beef it up? or maybe give us the ability to mod it of equip a different type of canopy glass.. stronger but heavier

I tried to suggest a Forcefield canopy last year. Unbreakable but requires power. No one took the bait.

well a force field would maybe be a little op and remove the mechanic of losing your cockpit

It would go off with power malfunctions and if your plant died it'd be one more thing you'd have to decide was more important than another.
