Hotas and xbox

One of my grandkids as the new xbox 1X. I've looked here and else where including Amazon. Does anyone know it there is a Hotas for the Xbox 1 X. I've know there's and Xbox 1 and that the Hotas t flight X is the one for it. But I can't find a Hotas t flight 1 X.

At $60.00 plus shipping, wouldn't want to purchase nor send him the wrong one.

OK, the hotas x box one, is the only one that works on the new Xbox one X. I thought that model was only for the xbox one.

I think I see your misunderstanding. Whilst there are now three different models of Xbox One consoles, they all share the same controllers and other accessories.

T.Flight HOTAS One = Xbox One, Xbox One S, Xbox One X
T.Flight HOTAS 4 = PS4, PS4 Slim, PS 4 Pro
T.Flight HOTAS X = (Edit for accuracy) PS3

all work on Windows PC, supposedly after switching the button in the front to PC (may require a firmware update from the thrustmaster site for PC.)

Since the other thread was merged into this one just sharing.....

In the other thread it was asked if you could use both the HOTAS One and the gamepad.

07 Commanders!

Bought myself TM T.flight hotas few days ago, having a blast with it. Best purchase in years, after buying Elite ofc

But i need some help. There is any way to use both Hotas and a controller? Right now if my controller is online, then hotas is not working. Any vice versa.

Because i have hard time with chatting, using my hotas. One pilot wanted to talk with me, but i dont know to reply to his message. Feel bad now

Yes and No is the answer, but it shouldn’t be concluded that you can fly with one, then put down one and resume flying with the other.

There are buttons that work on the gamepad but not to the extent that allows you to play like prior to using the HOTAS One. If you wire the Xbox one gamepad to the console directly and use the chat pad, you can type but depending on your settings, you’ll need to initiate it on the HOTAS in some cases.

Being wired does give the vibration and ability to chat using a headset.
Some others prefer a traditional keyboard to type but note, this doesn’t offer flight controls just text input.

I'm using my controller alongside my HOTAS, to control menus, including opening them. I also use it to control holo-me, maps and camera.

You've just given me an idea for camera controls on the PC... since I hate using keyboard and mouse or even the HOTAS for that [up]

Honestly surprised you haven't already. Been doing it for years!

I had a blank bit when it came to picking up the controller when I was flying E-D...old age I suppose :D

I set up the free camera controls on the Xbox controller tonight which is a lot better than how I had it set up on the keyboard. It's pretty intuitive now with zoom on the triggers, roll on the shoulder buttons and pitch, yaw, up/down/left/right on the thumb sticks, I also set the activate camera mode and free-cam on the D-pad so thanks for that Horsey [up]
