Game is confusing

There's no ingame tutorial what so ever

Been flying around in space jumping from Eradin to some other system trying to find things to shoot...not much luck...

currently stuck in super cruise no idea how to get out of it....

not a very good fist impression...

game missions don't even tell you where to go...

There are no tutorials other than the single player missions.

They will get created right at the end of the process.

Have a good poke around the forums to get started.

To exit SC head to tour destination (the thing you have locked on to using the left hand panel, navigation tab, say eridin 2) and when you get within 1000km doing less than 1000kms press the button that took you into SC

Good luck

And what button would that be to exit SC?

Escape - options - key bindings

Probably "J"

Try the single player scenario's first, they show you the basics...although they get difficult fast. Just play around with the scenario's, check your key bindings and after that jump in the game. You will do fine...

I am rather sad by your post, and this is why:

I don't want to insult you or anything, but this is a BETA. Not by far the release game. There's bugs, missing features, issues, crashes, missing info and much more problems in any beta for any game.

If you want to be taken by hand and walked through every aspect of the game, either buy a full game or don't bother at all. A beta is there to test stuff, and to test stuff people need to have a basic understanding of what the stuff is they are testing.

And for your question about what button SC is, have you seriously not thought about going to your settings -> Controls and find it there?

I really am not trying to in**** you, but if this is a hurdle for you, maybe beta-testing, or in fact this entire game, is just not for you.

Just a thought, in 'options - controls' it's not referred to as super cruse (SC) i think it's 'Frame Drive'

How bout you back off if you have nothing to contribute to this thread besides the obvious...I would not be here if I hand't checked the settings and controls.( and apparently someone decides to name the "exit of SC button" as Frame shift bla bla bla. aka "J")

I know its a beta

and this is the 1st game I've played in a beta with no tutorial system.

This game by its very nature is a bit confusing, thats part of the appeal to many of us, its good having a game that you actually have to think about rather than just browsing some wiki to help in my opinion.

good luck learning the ropes.

Thank you.

I got through half of them.I quit when I got squashed by 3 vipers.

and this is the 1st game I've played in a beta with no tutorial system.

The meaning of beta testing has shifted weirdly in recent years, with companies using it as a term for early access promotional tool.

Frontier are old school, and this beta is not even close to a ready game. We are here to find bugs, and test basic functionality.

I hope you sort out the controls and have fun hunting for bugs :)
