Paintjobs Request : Mix it up a bit

What I'd like to see in paint jobs is the ability to make up my own pack for each ship, so instead of say 6 military skins (all the same pattern but different colours) I can pick the one I like and then add one or two from another range and build up my own customised pack for a specific ship, price thm at £0.50 each (or less

They could always have a middleman like when you start here in the forum, where your paint job is sent through moderation before being approved for use on your ship. Even with PEGI 7 that would work, and if you were paying for it in some fashion I guess they would be motivated to look through those and approve all the ones which were A ok.
A manually approved system where you (as the game developer) open yourself up to criticism if something offensive to someone, somewhere slips through the net and goes viral? I wouldn't want that job. It's easier to just not allow it, and so here we are.
What's Minecraft's rating? Think I can't make offensive content on Minecraft? I don't see your logic here.
Realistically other large game developers have these systems in place working right now and have for some time.
Armored Core, Battlefield, Call of Duty, Forza.. to name a few.
If you count the addition of mods in the new Bethesda games which open up the public to literally add anything including artwork then Skyrim and Fallout 4 are also included here, granted they are single player however their content is shareable on Xbox Live, PSN Network, and Steam for everyone.
Saying FDev can't do it seems like a cop out, I believe they are fully capable wether you have faith they can do it correctly or not.
I just bought the new Raider Pack for my Corvette, and while I really dig the SPIKES and everything, the (6) paint jobs that came with the package all look more or less the same. You have a dark one, a lighter one, and a lighter rusted looking one. The other three are so close to the previous three that I really feel kind of ripped off as far as the paint job part is concerned.
How come the paint jobs NEVER look like the pictures on the store website?
