hiyas and thx for this great tool - like it

one thing i like to pull up here ;)

i use a seperate game controller for the camera - dedicated
which dosnt show up on sheet
in total:
i use a hotas, keyboard, mouse and a game-pad
free camera controls and camera switches(on/off, next..) all set to game-pad

anyways have fun and thx again

My right hand controller is a Microsoft Force feedback 2 sidewinder. Not sure how to search through this thread for that, but there you are. Edit: there's like..9 of us!

Also my left hand joystick (T16000m) is in Left hand mode, so the number 11-16 and 5-10 are on the wrong sides (not that it matters that much, but thought it should be noted)

Is that a gamepad-style controller, and if so does it map exactly to one of the supported controller types like the Xbox controller? If so I may be able to support it as an alias.

Sadly the handedness of the T16000M isn’t indicated in the bindings file.

If you sve your config and let me know the url I can take a look. I imagine you’re not the only one to use a separate camera controller.

It's an old joystick from the year 2000, but its pretty widely accepted as one of the best in terms of feel/resistance, hard to find though. Shows up as a joy axis. XyzThrottle and buttons 1-8, and hat buttons.

I'm not sure what info you need but here's some.

Great tool!

I've noticed that the site throws the following Google font loading error when using Chrome (and probably other browsers):

"www.mcdee.net/:8 Mixed Content: The page at 'https://www.mcdee.net/elite/' was loaded over HTTPS, but requested an insecure stylesheet 'http://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Domine:400,700'. This request has been blocked; the content must be served over HTTPS."

If I may, if the following is changed to use "https" this will resolve the error and load the font:

Hey man cheers for the generator, just in the Beta and upcoming version FD has changed the Hotas 4 in the bindings from ThrustMasterHOTAS4 to TFlightHotas4 so newer binding files don't work on the generator as it doesn't recognise the joystick type.

You're on the old site which is no longer maintained. jgm never did put in the redirect. The current site is https://edrefcard.info/ and yes, that error was fixed a while ago.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll deal with this along with the new bindings for Galnet Audio.

In beta, every time I launch it tells me I don't have enough funds to cover my insurance, even though there are actually enough funds for several rebuys. It also refers to my ship as Unknown ship when I request docking. Is this normal?

I hope there is a clue to why it isn't being detected correctly.

Thanks for the report. FD say there are improvements to this in the 3.0 beta, so that might be worth a try. Are you running via Steam or a standalone installation of ED? Shouldn't matter but the Steam support for the DS4 controllers has been known to be a bit inconsistent.

I have a Thrustmaster MFD Duo set. When I have bindings on both MFDs four sets of MFDs appear in the Reference Sheet Generator, with two being populated, and two blank.

This can be seen here: http://www.mcdee.net/elite/binds/mxjfzg

I believe this should show only two sets of MFDs populated side by side.
