About four weeks ago I posted on Facebook reminding relatives about the obvious - the stock market doesn't go up forever, and it's a good time to pull some profits out and put them into lower risk investments.
So sad so many people don't understand they need to buy low and sell high, not just sit back and ride the roller coaster :-(

Yeah, it's good to take profits every now and then. The timing is the hard part. Indicators weren't going down and the economy is really strong.
Catching it after the fall didn't do much to mitigate the losses, but it sure helped.
And + rep to starman above. Yes, now is the time to buy imo. I'm back in and the market has gone back up a bit. Cut my losses from 75k to 40k. Lots of volatility remains.
As they say, roll the dice, spin the wheel.
