Die-cast, plastic, kit whatever. If it's a ship I'll buy at least two.
I'd go for a mobile version that I can hang in my play room above my desk! I could just look up to see my ED ships doing their thing! 
The individual models would need to be at least 6 inches long I think, so reasonably large and detailed. Maybe 4 or 5 ships per mobile, all to scale of course!

They have been getting them, I've seen several posts that they've received their ships in (what looks to be) glass cases, along with photographs in the threads.
I normally balk at this sort of thing....but I would so pay for a model of a Cobra MkIII

At least one forum member has posted indicating that he has received his models recently.
While i would buy them i would much prefer a DIY model kit. I have a few from Star Trek already over the years. A model 1701A a 1701D and a marqui fighter. I did bought the Reliant once but it came with the wrong parts
Yes, absolutely (on the ship models). I'm still a bit miffed that I missed out on the 3D printed ones.

Someone did have an official licence for 3D printed models. The company went bust.

I was so gutted when I realised the bobbleheads in the store were for the game only! lol
if it comes as a self paint kit, yes. need to put some on custom made fancy camo on it.
