I tried to get a wanted player who has a very huge bounty on him and so very soon I was losing the fight. Anyway I was able to avoid rebuy just by using the switch to desktop after waiting 15 seconds. After I logged back into the game I had maybe 2 per cent hull, but no rebuy. I love this game.

Your trolling needs work 3/10

Hey I'm not "trolling", I just used the 15 second timer for the first time with another player.

What was your motivation for doing so? Did you not want to die, or just not want to watch?

I guess you have done this before (against NPCs) from the way you phrased your post. Is it now habitual behaviour?

Very nice Legiti-Log.

I would rather have been destroyed and learnt the lesson than combat log.

I also rather you'd not use it BUT it is completely legal so use it under your discretion.

Extremely poor form, no ifs, buts or excuses.

No money for rebuy. I sold all my ships so I could get a fer delance and now we can't make money with passenger missions.

Not true. You can still make way more than anywhere else.

As for having no rebuy - I hope you learned something from that.

And at least you didn't Alt+F4.

So you attacked a wanted player knowing you didn't have the rebuy (and that that was a problem for you) rather than just not engage them.

Why did you feel the need to share this info?

Seal clubbing of new CMDRs is acceptable but a legit loggin out via ESC menu is not?

Some of you really need to get down from the self entitled pedestal you build themselves.
It's really not as high as you think it is.

To O.P.- it's ok. Maybe not classy but at least you didn't yank the Router cable.

Well since I can't have the money to get a rebuy and I can't engineer because I just have the original game and I don't want to start over in a sidewinder not very many other options.

Wait.... someone engaged in PvP used the 15 second timer to escape destruction? Oh the hypocrisy!

its called opinion, and apparently we are all entitled to it, as are you.

Pretty sure no one is saying it's not legit. I'd put it on a par with sealclubbing. Within the rules but inconsiderate.

There is a clear distinction between stuff that you should not do vs stuff you must not do.
