in 2017 2.75 million sales, more then $82 million and still things are coming out at snail speed.

I have video evidence. I'd show it to you but it's on VHS.

I trust you will devote all resources to uploading this and not rest (or post) until it is done. I appreciate your dedication to uncovering the truth and look forward to your unambiguous supporting evidence.

In return, I will do my utmost to remind you of this if your next post does not contain a link to your video evidence, to help remind you of your duty.

It's almost like they implemented all the easy stuff first, then started adding the more complex features.

Lots of easy stuff still to do, lots of complex stuff already done.

We can all guess what the reasons might be, I'd like to know.

Then there's the fact that some of the things they want to add/develop may not work due to current computer/console limitations.

There's another factor, consoles. They now have to develop a feature then make it work on PC, Mac, PS4, XBox.....

All of this takes time.

thx for the info

It's a public company, so you can read their annual reports. Or buy a few shares, go to the AGM and ask them directly.

Their 2017 revenues were actually around £35M, they have 300 staff working on 3 games, and two more in early development. They are committed to a platform/games as a service approach, but their goal is to build a portfolio of successful games, not put all their eggs in the one or two baskets. The long term best interests of Elite are served by a solid and sustainable business model.

ok thx for the info :) is there a link to this info?

You know? I was thinking, since we payed for that nice new building, we should be able to use it for meetings, parties and stuff. Like a Fire House. As long as you promise to clean up after yourselves you can have Lan Parties and/or DnD nights there.

I can just imagine a group of Elite Dangerous players doing DnD (but an Elite Dangerous version).

ahmm what ever even at $70.000.000 and what you are going to tell me that their expenses are more than what 30.000.000 heh ok well i cant look in their wallet but i can imagine how and what and yes thats what i said over 3 years but still........ smear that over 36 months and still its $2.290,902 per month..... lets say they keep $1.500.000 after all the expenses its still $1.500.000 per month.....
You don't need to speculate about the finances its regularly reported in the investor section of their website.

Do you have any links to the broken kickstarter promises you mention in the OP?

I would like to see the pace of development increased, but not if its going to be placeholder or limited by the current generation of tech in the playerbase, i'm prepared to wait for it to be delivered 'with fidelity' as David Braben said during the kickstarter.

Don't get me wrong Nejamai, we all want all the goodies too, I'm hanging out for Squadrons, atmospheric landings etc, but we'll just have to be patient. :)

If you look beyond Elite (heh, see what I did there?), you'll know the Frontier are currently working flat out on Jurassic Park Evolution.
All the company's main resources are working towards that end as Universal have the sequel movie coming out this summer and the game must be released at the same time.
As a consequence, Elite has been put on a back-burner with QoL and maintenance updates. We get 2 minor content updates this year with a major update tail end of the year. I agree that the pace of development seems to have slowed down for this year.

If you have a problem with it, I suggest you invest in some shares in Frontier Developments and attend their AGM in October to ask the company directors in person.

Do you really think the pace of development has slowed down? In 2017, we got 2.3 and 2.4. So, basically, multi-crew, combative Thargoids, and lots of minor improvements. That isn't really a whole lot, especially in comparison to what's planned for 2018.

Regrettably I put the tape into the jawed mouth of my belly for safe keeping. I daren't put my hand back in there as last time I nearly lost it.

And lets not forget the shareholders.

Citations needed of this supposed relegation of ED to the back-burner (bear in mind Frontier already stated at FExpo that ED has not had a drop in developers; but has rather grown in size).

ok so that financial info is there, good info and thx, im sure many other people did not know this either :) still slow progress if you ask me for the earnings that are made.

yea they are to be found via google and on the kickstarter page also youtube when they were speaking about what would come and be placed in the game in the early days, the start, its a promise if you state it while developing, i know things can go wrong and or change but then you must say it, we wont do it, not say its not yet in the planing.

It's with Debbie Harry now, nothing I can do about it. You could try contacting James Woods though...

So you don't have any video evidence? Did you know it was no longer in your possession when you wrote your initially and the response to my post?

Are you in fact just making it up as I believe?

No, it's with O'blivion at the Cathode Ray Mission. I told you, you'll need to speak to James Woods. Of course, I do have a frame from the video tattooed on my perineum. But I couldn't possibly show you that...

I refer you to my earlier 'put up or shut up' statement. No excuses, we need to see what you've got in your next reply.
