Quick question about 17 Draconis

Was chatting with someone who said when they started 17 Draconis was the place to be to make CR and he mentioned it was the longest trip he had made to date.

So I have a looksee on the map, and yes it is an isolated system far from the rest of the bubble.

But also has each Planet named, so a hand placed system.

Anyone know the history of it?

I don't recall seeing it in any of the novels but been a while since I read them, I know I have found a system from Tales from the Frontier before on the galaxy map.

Cheers yes, beyond that I just though with each planet in the system having a unique name it might have been in the lore as well.

Sorry I didn't find this earlier, but this is a relevant piece of information.

17 Draconis was of particular interest because of the White star with a gas giant that had an Earth like orbiting it; all naturally generated by the stellar forge.
It was the first test system that an Orbis station was added into. We used it during the E3 2014 press demonstrations.

I wrote my own highly unofficial lore backstory on why 17 Draconis existed, and why it was the way it was. You can read it in my old Outback Gazetteer thread. A player group based out there later asked me if they could use my backstory in their own lore.
