I can't actually remember the beat d/l for 3.0 but it was some substantial amount (possibly 16 gigabytes?).

If you have the beta installed it actually fast tracks delivery of the real 3.0 (as is my understanding but I could be wrong).

pre-party streaming is scheduled by 12:00 GMT (iirc), so, considering the streamers have to update the game I'd say it will be ready for download first time in the morning.

The beta is on another folder, I doubt it will work at all as a differential update.

If you insist I will have to take your word for it. That being said if the beta is useless how do we delete it because it isn't showing up in my launcher since the servers were taken down.

you can just wait and see. You can go to the game folder, under products/ you will see the TEST (all uppercase) folder. But I'd just wait to see, the launcher should get rid of it I reckon.

All ways tricky to say...
A Thursday norm would be around 4am GMT = around 6pm here....
The last 2.4 was around 10am GMT from memory, still another 8hrs away.... i got it around 9pm my time on the day, about 3 days early than expected...
That being said some updates have been days & weeks late.... Even delayed to space out down loads as not to over load the servers....

So it will turn up when it turns up, thats life

They have a streamers schedule, I really doubt there is going to be any delay, and if there is it will be very well justified.

Have to agree with that. For me the update won't happen until much later in the day in the timezone I am in (and my day is already half over).

So I might have some hours to wait yet. I might play ED 2.x!

I was doing some challenge scenarios to avoid touching the account at all. Practicing has been good :)
