5€ for a few dots of light? Ok...

Well at least FD dont sell you non existent space ships or tanks. But to be honest this light bubbles addon - FD you can do better.

Sry, LEP holder here. All these things are "free" to me, since I paid for all of them in advance anyway :D

I'm not complaining though. But once in a while some of the items do make me scratch my head (?)
Looked at those light dots mentioned in the Thread, saw the price and was... *lol* dafu ?! IMHO OP has a point. That's really all it is.

Am also an LEP veteran and tbh I buy everything that Frontier offers up in the store just by way of thanks ... this game has paid for itself in terms of playing time a thousand times over. If it cost me £1000 it would still have been a bargain! Now where can I hang these lights? :p

Remember your attitude when/if ever you're down and out yourself mate. Backbite's a bbbb, I can tell you.

Been there mate, was recently joking with a friend about how we used to check the couch for pound coins as students in our early twenties, the worst point was when I had to choose between putting money on the electric or buying a ready meal. I didn't have time for computer games back them. Am 39 now and made damn sure I never go back to that.

I could understand if this discussion was about the price of life saving medicines, we are talking about a frikin computer game. We have a choice if we purchase or not.

i hope it works out well for you. Turning 42, things don't always follow our plans.

I wouldn't jump the gun too quickly, or worry about the future. Frontier are doing an amazing job, and making sure the game is completely functional!

I do agree, the price of the lights is steep, so you aren't wrong there, but if I could say anything, I'd say just try not to react so quickly :D

Well. _If_ the game really _was_ completely functional (which is a nigh impossibility, easily granted), I would never have cried about this.

5e is a rip off for a string of lights. I don't care, I won't buy it, nor would I for 1e, but it is what it is. /thread

People seem to forget that they're getting Beyond for free. How did they think Frontier was going to fund development?

Indeed. For a game that does not have a monthly subscription- but is playable for as long as you like, people seem to have failed at basic math.

Development and maintenance costs require continuous income.

As with anything in business, if people don't like the product or the price, then don't buy it. Simple.

Yeah, let's.
The price is determined by offer and demand. Since the dawn of ages. Don't buy stuff that seems overpriced and the price will go down (if the rest of the market agrees with you, of course)
Or do you write whiny letters to Tesco that milk is too expensive?

If you don't get the reference... Well...

The original business model was based on just core game sales, to which they had to adjust. But, like I said I have absolutely no problems with supporting my hobby with micro-transactions. The return worth per actual transaction is a problem though, when the pricing seems to have been pulled out of a hat.

When you see the numbers of cows on this forum, it would unprofessionnal for FD not to mlik them till the end.
