What happened to discovery tags in 3.0?

Just downloaded the update, and after looking for a while i haven't managed to see a single discovery tag for any system. Even the famous Sag A* is currentley untagged. I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this, and if frontier could answer on if this is a bug or some issue with the servers.

As an explorer whomst all achievements are bound in discovery tags this is just getting me slightly nervous.

noticed also... sold some carto data just yet and my tags for first discovery don't appear as wel as no bonusses whatsoever....

If other report the same thing, it will be a safe bet it is a bug, which can then be reported. If it just you, maybe try a reboot and if they does not fix it submit a ticket.

EDIT: but if this is a bug, this is a great one to flag, as you have, to ensure others don't have a major exploration disappointment.

Discovery tags need to be loaded from the server, and server is often under terrible pressure on patch day.

Someone said on other thread that you need to first scan the object to see if it is "discovered by", then it shows. Have not tested it myself yet.

It clearly shows in the picture that i have discovery data for Sagitarrius A*

Yeah you are right.

Its seems:

Old systems that i already have discover data - i can't see tags.
New systems that i visit - i can see tags (by pinging like always). And if i then relog, i lose tags.

Looks like bug.

High server load might be causing a delay on the text rendering to your game client. That data is sent to the game servers, not stored locally or peer 2 peer distributed. :)

I'm sure I read in the patch notes "restored all explorer tags for commanders not named Kolato" - or something like that.... :p
