He wasn't quite clear if blowing up a defense turret also counts as 'murder'. If that's not just another new bug, then that's what obviously happened here. Oh well, good buy planetary scan missions then. What a... [wacko]

It shouldn't It's just an assault.

What's your nororiety?

Conch fought the law and the law won.

Sounds like it :D

Im fine with being wanted. But locking me out of all my ships doesnt make sense.
im allied with all the factions, admiral and king and they lock my multi billion credit fleet away for 600cr.

I'm going to go shoot a turret, then go to the IF and will report back.

A bounty is a bounty.

Be more careful about where you commit your crime and it won't be a problem.

This isn't an argument you'll win I am afraid. This is what people want. Frontier always gives people, eventually, what they want. But NFZ and speed limits aren't suggestions. They're statutes and breaking them can carry consequences.

Bounty smounty.. it has one result. I quit the game and play something else..

If this triggers you, wait until you see what happens when you clip an eagle whilst traveling at speed into/ out of a station. I'm assuming you're just saying you quit. People say they are quitting all the time (but still keep playing).

Small bounties never made sense, I mean if you shoot a ship for a 200 or 500 Cr bounty you are likely to spend more on ammunition costs.

But in the old system they would expire in 10 minutes so it wasn't a big issue. Now they actually stick and you need to look for IF services, instead of just jumping to a random system and back.

Assault or tresspassing, I assume.

Fines are still fines. They can be paid off at the issuing faction's stations.

I got a reckless flying fine entering a station, notoriety didn't change, but systems were locked out at station until I had paid it off

When stuff like this happens i rather start up another game that doesnt make me angry.

its not like im gonna drop elite. I still enjoy allot of parts of elite.

So Flimley & vindelanos you guys seem know what your talking about - do you only get Notoriety for killing players or other crimes as well?

You can't pay off Interstellar factors if you have Notoriety right?

You only get notoriety for murder-of players or NPC's.

People want a strong C&P system that makes sense. I can't see that at this point.

OK. I just went and shot a turret at a base nearby. Picked up a 300 Cr assault bounty.

Jumped over to the IF at a neighboring system and cleared it.

Didn't have any issues.

Stuff like having to actually pay attention to where you commit crime and in what ship?

The bottom line is you can't go around committing crime as casually. And the interstellar factors are there to help you clear it. I don't see anything wrong with that.

I’m not seeing it, is there a way I can search for interstellar factors? I’ve been to two different big stations and haven’t seen one.

People want to punish other people. If Sandy can actually turn that into a viable system, then bravo. But people want to punish other people. That's it. Actual, sane, working C&P hasn't been asked for. Sandy's being trying to give people what they want, without destroying the entire system in the process.

I personally believe he will have a hell of a time trying to rebuild C&P when the majority of input is essentially provided to the backdrop of the sounds of people sharpening knives and brandishing clubs.
