300CR fine forgetting to ask to land, now I am stuck, because I NEED FUEL. I can't pay the fine

you filthy criminal! How dare you forgetting to ask to land, you should be destroyed kilometers from base and persecuted by the police for rest of your life.

I got a tresspassing fine forgetting to ask permission to dock. I asked three more times as i was moving away from the staton and was denied, but the last time i asked (i guess i had gotten far enough away) I was allowed to dock and access the station anonymously and paid the fine. As soon as the fine was paid i had full access to the station.
This was at a coriolis with no IF.

Trespass is on a timer...20 or 30 seconds...before you can request to land...

I think I see the issue. The station rep in that picture has a helmet, which means it's a damaged station (after Thargoid attack). Damaged stations don't have a security contact, which means you can't pay your fines there.

OP, if there is another station in that system (maybe planetary base?) you should be able to pay the fine there.

Dude don't even, I won't play this game if this is how it is because I forgot to ask to land, and I can't pay off a 300CR fine. that is INSANE. Now I am dead in the water because I can't find a station close to it. Don't be a jerk.

I had the exact same thing yesterday but was able to pay the fine at the same station that issued it. Weird.

Looking at screen it isn't fine. It's a bounty.

Oh, thats fine then.

Well that's in your.... oh wait I see what you did there ;)

Whatever it is being locked out for small change "costs" is just daft. Of course we can't even tell how much the "founty" was from OP's picture.

Personally I think it'd be much more plausible for you to be able to stack small fines until at say 5000 Cr you get locked out pending resolution of late payments. Perhaps even getting increasingly irritated messages from system authorities on docking and or loss of local rep.

How does one forget to ask for permission to land your lucky the station don't annihilate you. Problem is the pilots federation hands out licences like lollipops.

I really hope your not an airline pilot......

Please guys, don't start defending or band aiding a broken, bugged mechanic. This new stuff is borked on all ends and if not fixed as soon as possible I doubt it will survive. Which would be a pity as I really like the idea. But in such broken state it's just a nightmare.

Much drama, isn't it? It's just a bug, that's all.

I have done it a lot recently!

Looks like a bug.

Side note:

I and others mentioned in the beta that the number of interstellar factors locations need increased. Wish that had happened.

I genuinely thought that you could find an IF agent in every low-security system from the moment they were introduced. Can't say I've ever needed to use an IF and not been able to find one at the nearest lowsec system.

I could be wrong though. It's happened once before.

Yes, but I personally think it should be in more stations/systems now that it's more needed. Maybe other disagree which is probably why they didn't do it.

You should still be able to access Contacts and pay off your fine. It won’t be disabled, even though the rest of the station is. You only need an Interstellar Factor for bounties.

Right. It looks like the OP was experiencing a bug. Sorry for side tracking the conversation with the IF comment.
