254 Ships to kill....for merely 3 Mio. Credits

The new missions in Conflict Zones are horrible.
We have to face two bitterly negative new aspects now.
The first one are the laughable low rewards no matter which variant of bonus you chose.
The second one are the incredible high amounts of kills you have to produce in just the same amount of time.
254 Kills in 20 hours for 4 Mio. credits to give only one example. Alternatively I can accept 5 grade 5 materials.
Last week it was 108 kills for 25 Mio. Credits.
In addition the Conflict zone fighting got harder by several 100%.
Right now my fighter is killed every 40 seconds which is the best indicator to show how hard the conflict zones are right now. I would not mind that aspect if the reward was high enough.
But the way the game is designed by now I am out.
You just killed I mean: made Elite 30% cooler for me.

Oh, I didn't notice you have already given up. good, please, dont forget to tell a mod when you are ready to close your goodbye post!

I would like to add that I am triple elite and have the max. reputation in the reward offering factions.

---> No elite fighter would accept a 250+ ship kill mission for 4 Million credits if I can make the exact same amount of money in exactly 4 minutes by simply trading 550t slaves in a single jump.

You get my point?
Put it into PERSPECTIVE, Frontier!

I do not understand your argument. I am a professional mercenary. The money rewards for War Missions are totally out of perspective.

I get the point that being Elite you'd not worry about the Cr/h you can make with one of the activities that suddenly killed the game for you. I agree the pay is at the very least questionable, but the attitude is just.. the pilots federation should retire your license!! :D

I still do not get you. But for now I will return to my Cutter-Slave trade which makes 4 Mio. per 5-6 Minutes cicle-run.
Much easier.

You are able to do the math, right? And the risk calculation?

Why do players always go haywire right after a major update? So all fired angry and wanna toss the game just because things don't work like they use to or they don't like the new changes. I myself learn to live with the bugs that crop up with the new updates, don't worry, they will get them fixed eventually. An example for me is the changing material quantities keep changing on me, went material hunting and have several over 100, trying to max them all out, and wham, all the sudden, the quantity changes to 100 for each, which is ok, I checked and the ones that I had over 100 didn't drop back to 100 fortunately, but until that bug gets fixed, I can't collect any more of that particular item, and it might clog up my limpets with mats they can't unload in my cargo bay do to capacity limits. But hey, a small price to pay, the new change makes mat collecting a more fun experience for me, because the old way required that I only collect a certain amount of each mat based on what I needed for the mods I use the most, plus I had to consider keeping useless mats in storage to cover the low grade upgrades to keep my rep building for the engineers that you had to use favors for. It was quite tedious, constantly updating the spreadsheet I created for myself. But now, I even enjoy dropping into degraded signal sites, in fact, I don't care what kind of USS it is anymore, I drop in, collect everything, move on to the next. That's a vast improvement and it fits into my meticulous nature. Yea, there are problems that you come across or bugs, doesn't mean you gotta throw your hands up, give FDEV a break, they've made a dang good game here, its kept me entertained since its release and it is the primary game I play anymore. I even purchased a second one just to be able to do all the things I want to do and not be pigeonholed into doing one thing at a time, like I can now have one account in the black naming systems and leave the other in the bubble to do other things when system naming gets too tedious. If the old way of doing things isn't doing it for you, then change it up and do something else for awhile, or just give up...I for one, ain't giving up.
