Engineers Tech Brocker modules- can they be engineered?

Brief question, but can these modules be enhanced further, I have not touched an engineer since update as I am at Guardian ruins material farming.

also, can the current AX weapons be engineered now? (AX missiles, Flak and cannons as well as modules?)

take care!

Once you unlock an item, can you buy it (via outfitting) screen at any station with the same type of tech broker?

You can buy them from outfitting as normal once its unlocked. Guardian weapons are in the experimental group if the station stocks that group.

One of the items required for the gimballed shock cannon is a bunch of “Power Converters”.

This is an item I had previously not discovered and I now understand is unique to certain locations.

Would anyone be able to let me know (without the aid of google and YouTube), what in-game mechanic exists to discover where to find these?

Check commodity markets. If you can find a system that buys these (has demand), select the item and you will see a description. The description says where it can be found.

It may also be a mission reward (I'm pretty sure it used to) and there are missions that offer large amounts of commodities (20+) in 3.0.

Thanks Necasek0, that’s a good idea. Does that work if you haven’t visisted the system already?

I just checked, power converter is in demand in high tech stations. So go to any high tech station, open the commodity market and look for power converter in the machinery section. The item description tells you where it can be bought.
