Unfortunately I don't have the spare cash to test with, but I may not be able to buy it after all... Everything balances and is in gold, but the icon and "Store / Exchange" text is in RED!!! Good job I got one a couple of weeks ago.

Yet again, those of us who did the grind earlier get off easy. Why did they feel the need to nerf the worst grind in the game.? Is the grind that much faster with the new mission rewards?

Did you have any cargo/passengers onboard when you tried that?

I'm duke pre 3.0 and have one. I can't spare the money to test getting a 2nd one, though my Exchange Ship/Store ship are both gold to go.

Ok I just got to arch Duke. Will fly to buy one . It's one rank after duke

Right here is my guess,and only a guess :

Many were doing the exploited passengers missions, I forget where, that also increased your imperial rank. I guess most stopped at DUKE cause they had access to the Cutter.
Do you think there is gonna be new content for Empire(ship?) so they still wanted the many who stopped at DUKE to grind to it?

Ranks were : none-outsider-serf-master-squire-knight-lord-baron-viscount-count-earl-marquis-duke-prince-king

Anyone know if they have done anything like this on the Federation side? For the ranking to work it'd probably be Commodore put between Post Captain and Rear Admiral. Though I suppose they could have put a Fleet Admiral top rank and moved the Corvette to Vice Admiral.
