this is a joke, right?

It means that no regular player, that does NOT follow the pseudo "narrative" will gain the required information. this is really breaking any immersion.

Well not really, as Ram Tah is the one who allows gives you the decryption software, so it would break immersion if you COULD decode them without the mission active.

I agree with your point my problem is that this it's listed in galnet where it doesn't state to vist mitchell dock first.
So I went out to the ruins had to look up why it wasn't working jumped all the way back to meene but landed at the wrong station and was given the old mission didn't realise and jumped back to ruins and had to go back again , that's a lot of jumps.
While I could of done more research first I wanted do it on my own and it could of been avoided with a bit of extra text in the original galnet post.

I've only been able to activate one obelisk even though according to the pictures in the op I have the right objects , it keeps telling me I have the wrong ones .
I've tried at several different obeliisk's.
Is anyone else having this issue ?

Ok it seems even though you get you the wrong objects message at the ancient ruins it's only guardian sites where you can complete ram tah's mission.
I've found every possible way of doing this mission wrong surely now all that's left is doing it correct ?

Anyone else having problems with the pictures sometimes?
In 80% it's working fine with the pictures - but from time to time I got a decryption error but the pictograms seem to match.

In one case I had twice the same pic, parked my ship nearby and tried all 6 - did not work.

I have the mystery pictograph at Synuefe CE-R C21-6 C 1

The thing that looks like a Thargoid Link but fatter and not symmetrical.
Do we know what that is yet?

I'm also getting bugs.
No messages in my inbox and one of the pylons at this site didn't fully rise, so I couldn't shoot it.
