What's a good ship for an aspiring criminal?

I'm seriously considering becoming a part-time serial-killer (in ED, just so we're clear).

Not really fussed about PvP but I want a ship for doing stuff like pirating LTDs, carrying out illegal assassinations, attacking surface outposts, blowing up cargo ships for the mat's and all the other shady stuff in the game.

I was thinking of an FdL or Chieftain for the combat but they don't really have the internals for carrying cargo.
An iClipper, perhaps?

Anybody got any suggestions?

Python would be a good all rounder... pricey mind.. Also telling everyone you're going to be a criminal is probably rule number 1 about what not to do when you want to be an aspiring criminal.

Prismatic Python or Chieftain would work :)

I don't know if 32 units of cargo is enough for a marauding criminal, but I have a pretty tough aChief with that much cargo space. The aChief certainly faces down all of the PvE targets I've come across, including high ranking 'Conda's. The iClipper's speed and quantity of internals sure make it a decent choice if the landing pad thing doesn't trouble you.

Another suggestion, that you haven't included is the Python. Med Pads, many weapons and internals, plus a c7 PD makes it awful attractive for this role if you ask me.

Someone elses... :D

Kind of a hard one... Depends really on what kind of a criminal you want to be and your needs. The Python sounds good and as long as you don't get caught the rebuy isn't a problem. Been pondering this one myself... The Asp X might be another for PvE piracy. A FAS would make a good one as well, plenty of utilities, good internals, fast and maneuverable, can take some damage... Clipper looks good as well. A cobra IV would be good if it wasn't so slow, nothing more embarrassing than having the NPC's out run your engineered ship...

I've already started down that path and I'm finding my Cheiftain quite good for that as cheaper to rebuy etc than Python.
