The new credit meta (20M a MINUTE) (Clickbait but you'll click it anyway)

Eh, I love the new reward choice system, it greatly helps make the missions better IMHO. Some mission payouts could stand some buffing though. This mining infinite loop was obviously broken, but to remove all mining missions from the game as a preventative measure? Miners depend on these missions to make mining in any way profitable, so once again all of the honest players are being hurt for yet another possible exploit. It seems a tad heavy handed, unless a patch to restore them and fix this is coming in a few days, but I doubt it will be that quick. More likely mining missions will be missing for weeks now, which fracking blows.

It may be, we are still used to last "season's" 6 to 9 month turn around times.

I have to admit I thought Ed was being sarcastic too, but now I'm not sure.

Can anyone still find mining missions in the game? Are they really gone, all of them? :S

EDIT: yep, it's officially posted in the news bulletin forum now:

It's weird that some people wouldn't take them seriously - I suppose that because of their stupid jokes about the community in the past. Nobody knows when to take them seriously.

The salt harvesting line in the patch notes was hilarious though. The only people who seemed to get uppity about were the US folk, who are brought up on a diet of sickeningly pandering saccharine sweet faux-concern customer service anyway.

i wish next stream, Ed would have nerfgun with him :)

I'd be all over that, a small nerfgun sat just in shot behind him.

I think a certain section of the community who took massive offence to the salt-harvesting in patch notes would be apoplectic with rage though.

I thought it was unprofessional tbh, especially given their philosophy on game design (or lack of it) and like I said at the time, had they made a great game they could get away with that but given how much they've broken their own game and caused the salt, I thought it was thoughtless of them and not very customer orientated.
