PvP Why PvP is not popular in Elite Dangerous?

Well, I've read a number of complaints about it, and not a single one yet from a PvPers, so...

"No I can't" is a lot quicker to type.

Its simple english man. A miss quote is a miss quote and Majority and Vast Majority are two seperate things.

Nice try but we are not arguing the spelling of a word..as this is not the playground...rather the meaning of the word...which is a much more grown up topic.

I think it's fair to say FDev want to discourage certain activities (sealclubbing) without punishing other outwardly similar behaviour in other situations. It would be understandable if 'normal' PvP behaviour suffered because of rules put in to discourage poor behaviour. Frustrating, but understandable.

Lets keep this REAL simple.

Frontier's quote doesn't imply either way, so your assumption that is isn't 'vast' simply because said descriptor wasn't used is equally as stupid as the assumption that it is vast, small or anywhere in between.

Frontier didn't narrow down on which end of the spectrum that majority lies on in any way, they simply said 'majority'.

I can't think of an analogy that would affect me personally, but it's vaguely analogous to the recent mission nerfs. All suffer because some are exploitable.

I'm not against PvP, I'm very much in favour of it but I'm not a fan of it being forced on anyone that doesn't want to. I'm (usually) quite happy to offer myself up as bait by playing in Open, but I don't look for trouble.

And you never answered why it's okay for you to assume it isn't vast and not for somebody to assume it is. Majority, in essence just means more, it doesn't define much more, a little bit more or anything beyond that.
