You asked for the source of a quote concerning majorities or not, a quote you clearly did not know existed with or without the word 'vast' in it, that was provided. You weren't arguing for or against vast being in there or not at that point because you didn't even know the quote bloody existed. Once provided with said quote you decided to go on this bizarre 'vast' quest because you noticed it wasn't in said quote. Your entire position was coming from an 'it isn't vast though is it' position when said position wasn't excluded, (conceded by you in post 2033).
You resort to masked swearing, petty insults, full caps episodes and a massive move-the-goalposts' fest in an attempt to mask the fact you've been proven wrong with multiple quotes and replies.
My point was... Frontier never said vast majority in the post that was SOURCED when i asked for the SOURCE.
And here we are..4 hours later arguing im wrong.

I mean, I'm always commenting on Modes of Elite, but that's only because I actually engage in using various modes and the various activities under discussion.

Does it matter if they have a valid point? I have strong opinions on CLogging but I've never done it or had it affect my gameplay. There is a degree of elitism some people portray and that is ironic

But you didn't know that when you asked for the source, you didn't even know the quote was a thing, so please,. do yourself a favour, stop pretending it was all about vast or not at that point, it wasn't, that only became your position once the the majority thing was sorted out.
You moved the goalposts, 'vast' wasn't a thing in your head until the quote was provided, up until that point it can only have been majority yes/no. After all, how can you argue about the word vast being used in a quote that you don't even know exists?

I'm by no means dominating this thread (just bored)... but, I only fly in open. As for PvP, I suppose I mainly engage in mission PvP (as opposed to combat PvP), but even that is mostly accidental - random minor influencing of BGS/PP while in pursuit of personal goals. As for the rare combat PvP - I've been interdicted at CGs, shot at an outpost medium pad queue jumper, attacked an enemy in a cz, but I don't go looking for it (yet?). There's just too much else that still takes my interest.
As for the OP, I think it really can be distilled down to a couple of simple recurring MMO-wide cliches - it's massively assymetrical and for the most part completely detatched from any meaningful storyline/plot/rp context.

In work at the moment but i do fly PVP usually and i enjoy it rather a lot.

Oh I know I was just address Jason thinking he was making a clever point when of course what you want is the non-PvPers in the thread so he was as wrong as could be.
Kite seems to have degenerated into repeating himself here. It's a long way back but he didn't ask for a Frontier source, just for a source - given one of the many he's now congratulating himself for being immensely clever and noticing it doesn't use the word vast and choosing to dismiss any other evidence that could show otherwise.
It's all very silly. We should ignore them - write it off as yet more evidence of why people choose not to associate with the PvP community.
