Have a quick check on the galmap and see if this system is still in famine. If so, this distribution centre should still be there.

System still shows Famine state right now, heading over in my Asp Scout to take advantage of this tip off.

Even though Distribution Centre's are easy to find anyway, knowing how crazy it's been over the past week I could see this happening:
Tip: Mod your Frame Shift Wake Scanners for Long Range ... really helps, you don't have to keep flying around to get in range of the wakes
Frack, that's a great suggestion, and one I've honestly never even knew about! I use the wake scanner so seldom that the thought of blueprints for it never even occurred to me!
Am there now....NO (R) NO Disto Center. System still in Famine. Board hopped, still not Disto Centre.
Ah well of to grind summit else.

Well it's gone now, was happily scanning high energy wakes and got kicked back to the main menu, and when I get back into the game it's gone.

Are they spawning there at a disproportionate rate to what the usually do, or is it the fact that you found some Distribution Centers in the first place? I haven't even looked for DWE's since a month after engineers were a thing.
They didn't seem to be spawning disproportionately when the distribution point was there. I was in for about 3/4 hour and got about 20.
