Open play trolls

OPEN mode is the Atlantic Ocean circa 1590. You absolutely should expect to be attacked for no reason at any time, whether you get killed is entirely up to you. In OPEN mode it is your combat skills (or lack thereof) which will determine your fate.
It's because OPEN is an acronym for Over Powered Engineering Needed.
Sadly most of the griefers combat skills are average at best, probably because they are so used to clubbing baby seals that they are shocked when a cmdr turns round and fights, watch how many combat log when they start to take damage!!! I prefer Mobius these days as I prefer a quite life when I'm travelling in known hot spots.

very goodYeah... But I hate being tethered to my PC with a cable. I have one I could use, but wireless is so much more comfortable.
If the PC version had a battery strength meter with a pop up low battery warning message like the console versions do, it would not be a problem.
That is why I stopped bothering with Open combat on the rare occasions I bother with Open mode these days. (Game performance usually sucks compared to Solo and most PGs)
The majority of the times I have engaged with a random ganker in Open after they started the fight, they would combat log just before I was going to take them out. The time and effort I put into that engagement was wasted.
No thanks. I frankly don't see the point. Leave alone the appeal of such empty, unfulfilling gameplay.

My reading comprehension is pretty good, and coupled with my ability to also read between the lines, I'd say that Harry nailed it.
These "PvPers" are a joke. I've had a good number of "PvP' players pull my buddy's Cobra III out and open fire for no reason, only to immediately high wake out as soon as I dropped in with my conda, two of them actually combat logged when I followed them, the rest laid down and took it. These people want to seal club and will run as soon as they meet their equal.

Welcome to Troll City. Complaining about trolls on Open on here just begets more trolls on here. Just chill out and play Solo or register and play on Mobius until you get experience... unless of course you aspire to become a troll in Open yourself then by all means take advice from the trolls on trolling..

You'll have more fun if you play in Open and learn to survive, OP.
While we are evangelizing here, I have all the fun of open, without the negatives of open, in Mobius PvE. If you have a real desire to be in open, you'll need to adjust to that environment, and there's nothing wrong with that. But, there is only more fun in open if you seek that kind of experience.
Why would you want to do this? Its much better to sit in res site in crap tier turret boat build with 4 pips to systems and maw NPCs for 20 hours that cant even take a ring of your shields... become an Elite in combat, think you are the s**t, come into open and get rekt by the first FAS/FDL cmdr, and open a forum post about how engineers are OP and your bad a** conda should destroy anyhting that moves amirite?
