This normal for Elite, I recommend you bind a key to recenter the HMD. It should be already bound to F12 I think.

Pff that's nothing you should see what happens when you spell Vive correctly instead of Vibe. It optimizes the whole Elite Dangerous vr mode. I can run the game at ultra settings with ss and hmd set to 4.0 and it also enables fuul motion controls so you can use hands to interact with your cockpit. Spelling is super important. []>》
