You are using his name in a false maner to promote your topic. He has never claimed loosing faith in the game recently.Because when *he* publicly gives up on the game, it's the band on the Titanic .
So ant needs a break...we all need a break now n then...as fer utilities and third party apps...never used them dont even know what half of them are called...hasnt stopped me playing though ^
Explorer thing, that lets you keep track of all the systems you've been to, I think. I'm not much of an explorer, but I have seen it.
Which one again. I don't use third-party tools other than one of the ship building ones.

In addition you duplicate a topic that was already on the same subject.

Er, what's Captain's Log?
*scratches head*
That is worth bringing out to the front page.
Genar-Hofoen is suffering from burnout after playing for 1-3000 odd hours. It happens.
Nothing more, nothing less. And what he calleds "busy-work", most others call gameplay.

What if you had to start grinding mats before going to the pub to start with? No way!
Two boring things does not make 1 fun.How do you earn the $$ you spend at the pub?
So ant needs a break...we all need a break now n then.
That seems just a bit hyperbolic. Yes, Ant is a huge contributor to ED outside of the game, and his YT vids will be greatly missed during his sabbatical, but I wouldn't define him as the glue holding the community together, nor the toll of the bell signalling ED's death. Empirically, I've seen many, many veteran CMDRs take a break from this game, and good for them - sometimes this game is capable of consuming more than just your time.
