It lives on in the old colonies, I live on the west coast of British North America and happy to say there is a pie shop literally around the corner from me which also has a store carrying British groceries. Of course my town also has 12 sushi places but the old guard lives on! ;)

At that point humanity will become obsolete as production, consumption, administration and finance can be fully automated. Lacking any higher purpose beyond these, there is no reason to keep the meatbags around.

I'm encouraged by that, very pleased to hear one of those fine establishments has made it to the new world. Please don't get yourself into trouble calling your country British North America in the wrong company though :D

Have you considered that the purpose of humanity (if such a concept exists outside of the human mind) may be to create the next great race of beings free to roam the stars unencumbered by the fragile trappings we know as out physical forms?



There is every possibility I have drunk too much coffee today and should probably stop posting for a bit.
