Anaconda top turrets still not working

The top large hardpoints on the Anaconda are still not aiming correctly but point downwards when the target is above the ship.
I have two large, G5 engineered beam turrets with efficient and flow control fitted.
The weapon mode is set to aim only.

This is the case at 3.0.2.

The medium and small hardpoints aim correctly.

I play on Xbox.

For some reason I can not mobile post in the bug forum.
Please move it there.

There is no "top" turret

The huge weapon slot is under the ship, and the ship itself blocks any upwards shots with said weapons, it can only shoot below your center line. As you cannot shoot through your ship.

It is one of the reasons that combat with a conda can be tricky it is better to use fixed weapons in huge slot if you ask me.

edit: i misread.

Strange, this isnt a bug for me, i run 2 beam turrets on my anaconda but theyre not engineered. Is this an issue with other turreted weapons in those slots?

Will asked anyone still experiencing this problem in 3.02 to file a bug report, so as soon as you can access from a computer I would file one. I would also suggest you grab some gameplay footage of this problem in action, since I am pretty sure support is going to ask you for some video evidence to help them assess the problem.

OP is referring to the two large (Class 3) hardpoints on the bow not working properly with turreted weapons. In fact it is all C3 turreted weapons experiencing this glitch to some degree.

And yes there was actually a thread posted yesterday about the exact same issue, as well as multiple detailed bug reports in the sub-forum with tons of corroborating posts. I think it is getting the Devs attention but no official word yet :/

Hes talking about the 2 large hardpoints located on top of the main deck.

Large Turrets in general seem to be acting wonky, not just the Anaconda.

I have experienced problems with the Corvette's Large, Python and Cutter so far. Have yet to really test the T-10 again, but its plausible that one too.

FDEV has claimed that this issue was fixed in 3.02. That is obviously not the case for at least some players. Xbox version in this particular case.

As I said above, they are at least asking for bug reports from anyone still dealing with this in 3.02, so their confidence is obviously not 100%. :)

This bug only occures if you put large turrets into the top large hardpoint slots.
Although I do not knoe if this also happens with the belly large or huge hardpoints. If yes they should track upwards instead of downwards when a ship is below the Conda.

In fact thr vertical tracking seems to be reversed.

It will not occure with medium or small turrets in the top large slots.

It was claimed to be fixed in 3.0.2 which is unfortunstely not the case.

I can not provide footage as I am playing on Xbox.

This post belongs in the bug section.

There is a bug - the fix missed 3.0.2, it will hopefully be in 3.0.3

Rhe above is a summary of what was said by Frontier responding to that bug thread.

Quick question, is it worth to get turreted weapons now? I've been playing for quite awhile, and I have never used turreted weapons as they didn't really work, and using gimbaled was the ideal choice with fixed being the top dawg.
