Chieftain to Beagle Point? Done. Chieftain to Ishum's/Salome's Reach. Got that too!

Just thought I'd share this here.... did a series of livestreams in which I took a Chieftain to Beagle Point. Once I got out there, I realized that with a bit of jumpo I could make it to Ishum's/Salome's Reach as well. So I thought...eh what the heck, might as well!

And just for giggles and for the love of awesome screenshots....I took a few!

Mine is sitting at 42.6ly in its current configuration, including engineering. Could pull more out of it if I did a bit more compromising and left the SRV and ADS/DSS behind. Its a pretty decent jumper for a combat oriented ship.... was pretty surprised when I realized it could make it to Ishum's!

Because its there.

....but its mostly because I enjoy doing stupid stuff. Because I can. Wednesday next week I'm doing another run to Beagle. This time without a canopy, relying solely on life support synthesis to stay alive. Basically; stay on the pace, or die.

Indeed.

Though, I do enjoy PvP from time to time. Just not all the time...and I limit it to other combat ships. Unarmed/trade ships aren't fun, nor fair.

About to start a new insane trip.... going back to Beagle with my Conda. But... I won't have a canopy. Life support and a "meh" pile of synth mats. If I fail (due to asphyxiation) I have to reset my account!

That stream starts in a bit over 6 hours

What you described sort of happened to me yesterday when I was on my 1st leg of the journey to Beagle, my canopy blew out because I got dropped out of supercruise in a neutron Stars pulsar, luckily I was only 1200LY from Gandhravi & had enough materials to resupply my life support unit haha.

If I knew you were going to beagle I would’ve extended an invitation for you to join me

Well... I just finished the no-canopy run about five minutes before the servers went down for thursday maintenance. Went from Jackson's Lighthouse to Beagle Point in a little over 16 hours with no canopy!
