Horizons server is dead?

Playing from Okinawa Japan on mediatti isp. And they use internal vpn so we can get American Netflix etc. getting the JSON error when trying to log in to the launcher.

I've been up and running all night. Logged in around 0000 UTC, then logged in again around 0300 UTC without issue, though I pretty much keep my launcher open all the time. Never been to Dav's Hope either.

Logging in from China via VPN and without. Doesn't work in China, Hong Kong, Los Angeles USA, Tokyo Japan or...East London

I could try more locations but the connection is less reliable and besides which it's pretty clear the issue is not a connection or geography matter.

Raise you this BTW.

And just a word of warning...if you are in the game, and want to stay playing, do not log out or you won't get back in. I just exited out to the desktop because I'm heading to bed, but tried to get back in just to see, and dead in the water now.

Sigh, now I know what a kindergarten full of infants sound like when the toys are taken away .....

Seriously, FD have told us what they know, I would hazard a guess they are trying their best to remediate the issue. It isn't like this is a daily occurrence, ED would have to one of the more stable games I play.

That's new. I've been posting here for years and have never seen that message before. I also posted successfully earlier this evening. I checked my account and I haven't gotten any warnings, so I don't think I'm on probation or anything like that.

I was flying along quite happily, entered hyper jump and all of a sudden I felt a great disturbance in the Farce, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced.
