Vin Delanos in action, ladies and gentlemen.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ohw1uI1NsmU
Ooh! I'm gonna watch that next!
Call me Commander Trigger Discipline, I just iced a clean eagle in a res zone. I found an anarchy base and am camping like a big kitten. Is there a notoriety timer buried somewhere, or do i just leave the game idle for a couple of hours waiting for my big scary notoriety to drop?
And no Vin, I'm not telling you where I'm cowering in an outhouse.
Better yet, grab a KWS ang go cleanse the galaxy!
Yay me, coming back to a thread WAY later...
As to me getting a KWS, nah, I'm terrible at PvP. As in a noobwinder would probably give my chieftain fits. NPCs are just about on my level...
As a ganker, noob killer, murderer and salt miner I love the new C&P. They just gave the game the depth that it so needed.
Last night I was hunted by a group of bounty hunters in Eravate (I have 30mil bounty atm they would get about 3mil but my rebuy would sting), they actually had a warrant scanner! They were in it for the money, not some white knighting, I was hunted by 6 players simultaneously and managed to escape with 40% hull. I was terrified they will snipe my FSD and I would be finished.
With the new system I have to think twice where to kill and who. It carries a risk and adds alot to the game. I know many noobs had to sacrifice their life for me and the bounty hunters to have fun but such is the life in a cut throat galaxy, like in the jungle, the weak die first.
The rebuys hurt, and my ship is now outfitted for ganking purposes only, unlike PvP it has A rated fsd and a fuel scoop, I plan to put shielded B rated FSD because once its sniped its game over for me.
Could someone give me a quick ‘upcoming new KWS mechanics for dummies’ rundown please?
Please devs this game could be a great pvp game all you got to do is make it that way.
Have you tried GTA online? You get to throw C4 at people from sports cars and kill people with rocket launchers and miniguns. It's fun and sounds right up your street![]()
OK, before I take my meds for the evening (so please pardon me if a little off)
The KWS in 3.0.3 when used will expose the following:
All Bounties on a given ship issued by ANY faction residing within the system in question
All Bounties on a given ship issued by factions allied to the same superpower as the controlling faction of the jurisdiction in which the scan is performed (read Superpower Bounties)
Grants a License to Kill if bounties are uncovered - i.e. Ship may appear clean with Basic scan as no bounty from Controlling Faction of Jurisdiction, but KWS reveals Bounties that fit categories above (other Sys Factions or Superpower)
Hope this helps

Tasty!
Thank you for the help.![]()
And once you get enough bounties (or a high enough value for bounties, I think it's undecided) for factions aligned to a superpower, your bounty goes interstellar, making it an active bounty in all jurisdictions owned by that superpower.\
In beta it was 2M, but in a more recent thread Sandro mentioned "5 bounties", so I'm not sure how they are going to ultimately implement it.

I find this satisfying on multiple levels. I'm Wyatt Earp in space, and now with the aid of the KWS I can finally bring some frontier justice to a galaxy full of miscreants. 3.0 is easily my favorite update since 2.0.
