Anyone else fall asleep in supercruise and wind up in the middle of nowhere?

I usually play at night before bed from a VERY comfortable chair, so dosing off while playing happens. I know I'm giving haters a chance to say that ED is boring or whatever, but that's not at all the point of this post, and I've fallen asleep in the middle of online COD matches so it's either an extremely comfortable chair, I have narcolepsy, or both. So you can see how toward the end of my gaming session being in supercruise aimed at anything over 10,000 ls away is a recipe for potential unconscious autopilot. Last night I was hauling some passengers to Wholer in LQ Hydrae for my last run before going to bed, the station is a little over 14,000 ls from the jump and predictably I fell asleep. Not sure exactly how long I was out for, but it was a while because I ended up being .87 LIGHT YEARS from LQ Hydrae 😂🤣😆 My passengers were understandably angry, I even had a bulk group of tourists refuse to pay me, which was a first, I've only ever had VIP passengers refuse to pay for running behind schedule. Out of 7 Cabins only two super laid back VIPs actually paid me after I jumped over to a neighbouring system, jumped back, and finally got them to Wholer. Does this happen to anyone else? What's the farthest you've let your ship go off reservation while you were AFK or asleep? Tell me, commanders, of your narcoleptic wanderings.

Edited: a word, also the thought of you commanders waking up with a VR headset on sounds hilariously confusing!

Yep... Missed Hutton Orbital by .21 Ly once. Only once. Never again.

Try doing it in VR..... that was interesting......

Super-snoozing you mean? Please mean super-snoozing...

Yeah, I've done that.

Even worse, I was in my iCutter in a CZ. That had been one very long night of CZ missions.

I'd like to say I'm surprised I was still alive when I awoke, but that'd be a lie folks.

I once fell asleep while doing a Hutton Orbital run. I ended up twice as far the other side so took me 3 hours to do that single run [haha]

Oh yeah!

One of the few times I actually ran out of fuel was due to falling asleep in my own home system on my way back to base! When I woke up, my ship had dropped out of SC and was just sitting there. I was 750,000Ls away from the main star, with not enough fuel to jump out to another nearby system, and not enough fuel to fly back to base in SC.

That kind of situation really leaves you feeling the reality of deep space.

Not yet in SC, but when I'm tired those pretty multicoloured flashing lights in the system jump tunnel get me, or rather the bright yellow hot blob at the end, gets me every time!

Not in SC but I fell asleep after making a request to land and woke up looking at the side of the station i just crashed into. I must have been there for at least 5 mins because only had a couple mins left to land. Staying up too late and playing in VR is a dangerous combo.

I fell asleep at work once.

I was ok but the passengers on my bus were greatly aggrieved.

Hahahaha. Hahaha. Ha.

Ok, I'm done.

That's why I used to watch tv and play, if you just play the game on its own then your asking for the Z man to come get you!

Zzzzzzzzzz

Yes, and it's been getting worse as time goes on.
Last time I tried to play, 3 jumps in, (mission or eng travel, don't remember) I started getting drowsy.
Turned the game off.
Waiting for Q4.
