I've had my Saitek x52 Pro for quite a while, dug it out to play E
when I bought it during the xmas sale last year. Been playing since, no problems. A week ago I decided to also dig out my Track IR 5 Pro and give it a go. It works great - except that every now and again, I find myself looking up at the ceiling of my ship when I didn't mean to. I have to look around the cockpit of my ship to regain control of where I'm looking.
It seems to me that this issue *could* be related to my x52 - it seems that often the Track IR snapping to the ceiling is related to my manipulation of the joystick - but I can't reproduce this phenomenon consistently. It never seems to happen when I do NOT move the joystick, but it also doesn't happen every time I do.
Does anyone else with the same setup also have this problem (or had it in the past)?
And what can I try to resolve this problem?
Running on Win 7 x64. I have manually updated drivers & software for both peripherals less than a week ago - didn't resolve the problem. I'm using the standard profiles in both. I'm using only the reflective 'hatpiece' of the Track IR so far (haven't got a pair of headphones to use with the active emitter yet). I have used this setup in the past with MSFX, with no issues. The headtracking software also has no problems - I only see this issue when in E
.
Any suggestions?
