PTU gives you more ships to fly than you own pledged for.

Why cross out 'own' and replace it with 'pledge'? CIG are selling ships, or more precisely selling the right to use them in the game, you own that right as soon as they take your money. By law. There is no 'pledge' involved at all. You aren't promising or contracting to do anything further, it is a simple sale.

The graphics looks awesome, but the FPS performance really sucks! A question, the guy of the video how much did he spend on SC? looks like a lot of ships in the list and they are not cheap!

Do they look awesome?

I can clearly see the LOD line where the pebble texture layer gets streamed onto the ground below the vehicle and seems to be tied to the stuttering. Later in the video that LOD transition gets more prominent and starts to become an incorrectly shaded border around the texture/LOD line. I wonder if it is due to that texture being too high res or the engine failing?

It event horizon. Beyond that lie the endless possibilities of all the dreams coming true. Essentially the salvation of PC gaming.

Yes. Just to clarify, once again, if the transaction were truly a “pledge” it would mean that at some point, CIG would have to give the money back since it was just a loan backed by some kind of tangible security deposit to the backer. That's very clearly not what's going on, so it cannot possibly be a pledge.
