FIX. YOUR. GAME.

I've just about lost my patience when something as simple as dropping from orbital cruise to land on a planet causes the game to crash.
Never had this problem before yesterday.
It's seems to happen every fifth or sixth landing.
Managed to get around it a couple times by forcing an emergency drop, but that doesn't even work now.
This game isn't "early access", I didnt sign up to be a beta tester when I bought it and don't really feel like waiting ten years for the game to finally work. Maybe.

I think what you are reeeally asking is for the University of FD to stop taking applications for their combined coop degree program of ESL and introduction to software development.

Sorry...but good luck with that cmdr

No, it was directed at me! And I fixed MY game first, so nyah! *grumble grumble* I'm going to quit Game MottiKhan because it SuXoRs...rage RAGE! Rage I tell ya...

I fixed my Final Fantasy XV, today. I can finally play it instead of watching a purple flashing screen.

Frankly... We're still early into V3.0 and the public Alpha-Test (they call it "Beta" for some reason) was short.

Given the plentiful issues, bursting Bug-Report Forums, crude hotfixes and balancing/re-balancing that has barely begun (as V3.0 entered public Beta-Testing which for some reason is called "Release")...
I'd say it's safe to say we are temporarily in Early Access territory :D

Give it a month or so when the V3.0.3(beta) slowly transforms into something worth calling a "Release Candidate". We'll get there.
If I had to place a bet, I'd say in 3-4 weeks we might see V3.0.5_RC1.

Since it wasn't directed at any person in particular, I can only assume you mean me.

So yes, I'll fix my game.

I can land on planets without issue. So it's ok.

You're welcome.

No, it was directed at me and my game already fixed me yesterday. You are welcome.

I get that bugs happen with every patch, but is a stable foundation too much to ask for at this point? How many years has it been already?
I feel like we are reaching BC3K levels of absurdity. The only thing missing is someone from fdev playing the role of Derek Smart.

Or Maxwell Shmart minus the smart? P

Mentioned in another post how stable ED has been over the past few years compared to other space sims. This last patch with ED has caused 3 CTDS, compared to two over the last few years. Something is definitely up, only seems to happen at certain surface ports.

It's just that you are the first time among those who suffer from the bugs. Remember all the times you said "doesn't happen to me, it must be on your end"? This time it's on your end. ;)

PS
Note that it doesn't matter if you ever said that, it's just there for the dramatic effect!

Well, surely this post will make FD spring to work and fix it by tomorrow night, I reckon...
/thread.

Kinda unlikely - they haven't managed that in 3+ yrs (inc Horizons being 1 year late) & I'm guessing JWE won't suffer a similar fate? Universal might have something to say about that - but who gives a F about us poor, ickle, back-burner ED customers? Not Frontier, that's for sure!! Booo hooo hooo! Woe is me!...& other exclamations of self-pity!

Oh I see! Hilarious & complex sarcasm - my mistake!
