Sorry what exactly is the problem here? The new stations will be a good thing for Sothis, the long range missions disappeared over a year ago, currently it is just regular freight and data missions, pay isn't that great, a couple of mill for a trip in a big freighter is quite poor these days.

It's probably because it's a race between them and Fdev to get the whole galaxy nerfed until taking 10000 tons of gold to Sag A for 1 credit is the only mission left in the game.
