Buying a Imp Cutter

Congrats on your purchase.

As an experienced Cutter pilot, I can tell you it is a damn good ship, but be prepared to expend an insane amount of money outfitting it.

My combat PvP Tank Cutter is worth +1.000.000 million credits (even though I bought almost everything with discounts) and the re-buy cost currently sits at 59.5 millions.

Of course, not every Cutter build will rise so much, but just be ready to pay the checks...

Step 3: Get your landing gear stuck in the grill.

I always have it raised to pass the mail box... but be careful with the boost button...

I have mine outfitted for trade with a size 5 shield and HD booster I get 2k shields.
Reverb torps on the medium, 2 large cannon and a huge multicannon.
When hauling cargo/running delivery missions NPC interdictors go boom pretty quick.
Boosts to 490!

I said it, because I have learned many people are leaving the station with landing gear down. Helps with ship handling, probably and doesn't matter in smaller ships. But after they bought a Cutter, several times I have heard "Good god, I will have to learn to retract the landing gear inside the station" :D

The times I've gotten my landing gear hung up it was from deploying it outside the station. Got to do something to slow that brick down once it's rolling, I've slammed the back of an orbital hard enough to do some serious hull damage before.
