Holo Cmdr outfits

I want to buy a new space outfit for my holo, but the choices in the store are so monolithic. It's the same thing over and over with different colors here and there, but basically the same style. Give me more variety and you FDev can take my money. First off, I want a ST:TOS suit that uhura got to sport at the comms of the enterprise. Other sci-fi shows had distinctive styles that would be hot sellers as well. Chop chop and make it snappy :D

Maybe the devs feel a bit like me: I imagine a male person in his "best age", chuckling, while he dresses his favorite doll in sexy outfits, to let it act as his surrogate in his space fantasies... :D Well, erm... Whatever floats your boat, right? ;)

There is definitely an opportunity to expand CMDR outfitting, they could create lots of different glasses styles, cyber facial “enhancements”, hats, wigs and even silly foam hammers, flapping wings or whatever.

I think FDev will be amazed at what weird rubbish I would buy if it was available!

I rather have Elite find their own style and expand on that instead of copying other franchises. The raider suits were a good start, I think. The obvious choice for new suit styles would be Superpower inspired. Then you could have Thargoid and Guardian sets. And on top of that clothing and accessories to individualize the look.

More styles would be great, but remember these are first and foremost space suits so I think Barberella style clothing is probably out unless you want your pilot to die as soon as the canopy is shot out.

I think in the 34th century space suits could look like diaphanous wisps of silky thread with a plunging neck line, and side slits to Just below the groin, and that is just the male CMDR outfits!

It's also worth pointing out that you can mix and match outfits, not a lot of players seem to know this.

So you can have the arms and legs of one outfit but a totally different torso, or have different coloured arms to your legs, etc.

Something to play around with if you haven't already :p

Yeah I'm wearing the pants and boots of the Wanderer outfit. And have the sleeves of the same outfit sewn onto my original black flight suit.

Makes no sense but I'm glad I can.
