Another glasses in the Rift question

Hi all,
I've tried these:

https://widmovr.com/product/oculus-rift-prescription-lenses-adapter/ which do work but are a royal pain the butt when it comes to cleaning them, as you have to pop the cover off to get to them and refitting can cause.... bad language. Given that *every* time I play I have to defog them at least once, it can be a complete pain (please note calotherm cloths are in use)

So, I'm looking for alternative...

Are these any good?
https://vr-lens-lab.com/

and does anyone have a good solution they swear by (rather than because of....)

Oh, and preferred colour scheme - I've gone for all green which works, but is very boring :)

I bought a pair of single focus glasses in a thin, memory metal frame from ZenniOptical.com for about $45. They are in my Rift 24/7. Only bad thing with them is simply adjusting the over-ear pieces after I slide the Rift on. Works great, easy to clean/use, and I can take them out for use on the motorcycle when I want Reality instead of Virtual Reality. ;)

My regular glasses just fit snugly in the Rift. -3.75-ish so I'm not very myopic... you might struggle with worse vision + thicker glasses. Trick is to get frames/lenses narrow/small enough.

Makes taking off / putting on a bit more of a palaver but once settled it works.

I've not tried any of these lenses yet but wouldn't this be an issue with all of them? They all appear to be designed similarly.

But I too would be interested to hear opinions from owners as I was just about to order the WIDMOVR lenses.

Here are some threads by WIDMOVR owners, the first guy mentions that he solved his lens steaming up problem:

The thing with the Widmovr lenses is that they are seated within the Rift and you need to pop the cover OFF to clean them properly. The re-fitting can be a right faff and very frustrating. While they DO work, I was hoping that possibly using something like the option I've listed might be easier for cleaning and de-misting.

Like Verdegris, I got a pair of single-focus glasses for use with the Rift. I took my headset along to the optician so I could choose a frame that fitted comfortably (narrow, close-fitting legs and small lenses). Because the Oculus has a focal length less than infinity, I experimented with a weaker prescription(I'm short sighted), but it turned out that my full-strength subscription worked best.

After cataract surgery, I'm long/far-sighted (+3.5) and found I don't need glasses in the Rift at all. Have also used the Vive, same result.

Made a nice change after being very myopic (-11.5, -13.5 for my life before surgery, was handy for painting Warhammer miniatures, but that's about it:)).
