I think this is a real test for the grouping and instancing. Is grouping really just designed so people can cruise around together or for other purposes too?

Agreed. There are a couple of other events that have been advertised today - both racing events. One a sort of great space race and one The Buckyball Run.

We're seeing the first steps into testing player run events - events that if prove successful can lead to regular content for players to get involved in.

I'm not sure invites can be sent out in regards to groups. Players have to apply and then be accepted.

When you get online, just search for group "Erimus" under the friends and private groups options and I'll accept you in once I see your name appear.

Let's face facts, this idea is really to cater those who want consensual PvP (which is already catered for in warzones) ... however that subject has been done to death.

The war zones do not cater for it at all. Example from today. I went the the high intensity zone and (praise be there's a human). Only problem is that I don't know what side they are on so I have to guess. Oh dear now I'm on the same side.

Now I've had this happen to me a few times over the past few days because as yet I have not seen more than one human there! I enjoy working with other humans. Seeing someone I. Trouble and helping them out, working together on the more challenging ships etc. however, since SB and it wasn't fantastic in PB it really doesn't work.

Yes it should be one of the things that caters to this, but it really doesn't (yet).
