Sometimes it is more than one thing, or just something they can’t put into words. Often, the first sign of dissatisfaction is a general feeling of “wrongness” that can’t yet be defined. I have issues with the game as well. I can define some of them, but sometimes it’s more like the ineffable straw that broke the camel’s back.
Frontier Dev's are killing their own game

While annoying and whining, there is a value in these quit posts. They SHOULD be a signal to the devs that some players do not like some aspects of the game. FDev should take notice, figure out if the leavers are big enough of a demographic to actually matter and change the game accordingly if so. Alone, posts from both leavers and those wishing them goodbye mean nothing.
FDev, adjust the game so that it pleases the majority of its playerbase. And gather player statistics if necessary.

So who do the Devs listen to:
The PvP'ers who want everyone in Open, preferably in unshielded ships?
The Space Legs fanbois who want a combination of SIMS in Space/Farmville/COD?
The Auto-everything crowd who want everything automated in the game?
The 'Let's make this FSP Eve' crowd?
The Pay-To-Win crowd?
I could go on of course but hopefully you see where I am heading. This is the most diverse player group I have ever experienced. Because of the open nature of the game, everyone plays it differently, and subsequently, expects (some demand) to play it their way. You could poll the player base, select the Top 100 responses and 99 would be different.
There really should be a sub-forum for these threads.
Sometimes I read your posts with sad violin music playing in the background and the suicide prevention hotline on speed dial so I can get into your frame of mind. It also prevents me from throwing up in my mouth a little...
This is what drives people away. Who wants to be a part of this community if this is the result?
Serious note for a second, though, don’t make fun of the suicide hotline. You may find it all a right funny joke, but it’s not. Just because the world of Elite is dour, heartless, and cynical doesn’t mean the community has to emulate it.

Maybe someone needs to make a trap track, "Can I haz ya stuff? Can I.. can I.. haz ya stuff?", so I can just reply with that to these.
But yeah OP, they nerf an insane amount, I'm sorry it's become too much for you.
Just remember all things come to an end, whether good or bad.. and it's better to have played elite, than to have spent that time jacking off.
