Remind me, how much system ask for ship transfer from Bubble to Colonia?
And compare it to equal range mission payouts.
Result is...?

you tell me? considering I'm not going to take a mission that has well over 200 jumps in it in my puddle jumping courier, the point is kind of moot. seriously, I'd spend more in fuel than the pay out (providing I don't fuel scoop, which would be silly). I'd likely get more in cartography rewards, too...

Just ignore them and move on.

The middle mission, is one jump, for about 8% of the reward. Once completed, you could pick up about the same; if not more, for the trip back. Then you get offered, better and better rewards; most of the time.

We see the big numbers and drool; then jump in too quickly: This game is here to trick the stupid and greedy.

I was doing passenger missions and saw a 22kls, to Sag; for about 15 million. I ignored it and continue to do so. These days I see the same missions of over 30 million, but i am happy to wait and keep doing the short hops.

They pay pretty well if you get a full stack of them - 2-3 million each when Allied, plenty of them available in Tourism economies, so you grab 20 and you get about 50 million for a trip to Colonia. You can take that fast down the neutron highway in a couple of hours, or take it a bit slower and double it with scan data too. (About half of them will give the "early finish bonus" when you get to the destination system, which is another 450k per mission on these). Did that the last time I did the trip, for a nice bonus payment.

(With a hyper-optimised neutron route, a lot of pre-prepared DBXs, and a willingness to ruthlessly exploit the respawn-on-death rules, I think you could theoretically make about 50MCr/hour from these missions. But it would probably drive you mad.)

You also get the advantage that having completed the mission, you're in the Colonia region, which has a nice variety of high-earning mission opportunities of its own. Consider doing this mission for less than the apparent value as an "introduction fee"...

In my experience, this has been related to particular systems. Hoji, for example, often has lots of data delivery missions to the places around Colonia, but the other nearby systems don't. I have no idea why this is.
The inter-bubble missions are restricted to Tourism economies. You can also get inter-bubble one-way passenger missions from the same places, which pay pretty well, though obviously slow you down more than the data ones.

(In theory, you should be able to get return direction missions from the Tourism economies around Colonia ... in practice these only tend to appear on Thursday mornings just after the Powerplay cycle, for reasons which remain unclear)
