Ah well. Blown to suit again lol

I've raised the thought before... i'll raise it again. these "players" that think its cool to go round beating up on others just cos they CAN... leave the piracy bit out. that's kind of a legit tactic.
i'd love to be part of a sort of vigilante wing that where a cmdr gains a rep for beating up on others, well... the wing goes hunting.

Adles Armada? Isn't that their MO?

FWIW.. I've been that solo vigilante. I've been in a CG bounty hunting site.. and watched a CMDR in a ship like a FDL jump on another CMDR in a Cobra for a 200 credit accidental bounty.

I've then beaten the dogs**t out of the FDL pilot, sent them to their insurance agent, and joyfully endured the consequences of my actions. Pure pvp murder. The poor noob I just avenged has no idea what transpired after they get their rebuy screen.

But I do.. ;) And sometimes... the ganker gets ganked. Even if you don't see it.

I actually miss being pirated.
Only happened to me a few times. But the back and forth banter, the haggling, it was a lot of fun.

Its not piracy if its done willingly and without force.

'Hello Mr Trader, terribly sorry to bother you, I'll be your pirate today.. how much cargo can you spare?'

I mean come on.. its pathetic.

I think your missing something here - being on the receiving end of 'properly' executed piracy can be exciting engaging gameplay. When challenged I have attempted to run / engage and have been brought to helplessness by precision application of tactical force, negotiations tend to be little one sided from there as one must accede to demands. Resistance may mean the loss of ones ship thats the risk associated with the use of force, with submitting and nogotiating from the start meaning lower demands may be made and met.

When will I learn that open play and community missions is a recipe for disaster....isn't there a rule somewhere about murder ? It's OK cmdr ****... I'm grinning.

A: There are rules yes, but they punish crime, they don't prevent it.

B: If you died, I'm absolutely certain there were actions you could have taken before or during that would have saved you.

C: Naming and shaming isn't allowed.

I don't remember mentioning that there was no threat of destruction if i didn't comply.

I love it when people suggest “winging up to take out the griefers,” it’s cute.
Have you G5’d almost every single module on your combat ship?
Have you done any legit pvp?

If the answer is no to either of those questions, your entire wing needs to prepare a high wake or be ready for the rebuy screen against any decent hobo.

Numbers don’t necessarily mean success.

On top of that your best result is to chase them away. Forget about killing them since a PvP ship is un killable unless that pilot is willing to die.
