I must admit I am a bit Proud and also a bit Insulted.
Proud because I clearly made a lasting Impression here given how everyone immediately knows my Favorite Topic.
And Insulted because somehow none of you seems to be able to find any other Topic to talk about when I am present lol.

Also as an sidenote. For people who aint Adult enough to be able and exchange Adult Topics there is also Special Forums for Children where all these evil and challenging topics that might cause a conflict or challenge some peoples narrow view on the World are being kept out entirely *gg*

I like political debate, which I why I engage in it in forums where it's allowed. It's verboten here due to people getting angry and upset so no biggy. This forums about the spaceship game after all.

I remember you because you made such a big fuss about putting me on ignore.

Im on new meds that severely mess me up fer most of the afternoon...cant drive on them, cant stray too far from the toilet or be left with no paper...so yes Im a grumpy old git today because the pain is becoming intolerable and Im not functioning normally, not eating properly, not sleeping more than 2 hours a day and me daughter is rationing the smoke so absolutely...Im in a foul mood cos me 15yr old daughter is dictating to me when I can have my pain relief.

And yes, apologies but the forum bears the brunt of it cos she went to school and I had nobody else to lose the plot with.

Ill be calmer tonight when it doesnt hurt as much ^

I remember it was so enlightening coming here to have a debate only to be called a racist or a bigot or just a right wing fanatic...take yer pick they all apply and they were all used frequently.

Then they would pat each other’s back congratulating each other and nobody could say squat cos they had a couple mods in their back pocket.

That is pretty much how I remember it too, sadly. It was never a discussion, it was just a bunch of people that agreed with each other attacking anyone that didn't agree with them. Not because they thought they might be right, but because there was no doubt about it and anyone with a different opinion must be wrong to them. I used to get so wound up I'd reset my password to try to stop myself responding to them. There was only one corrupt mod and he isn't around anymore; he vanished when they banned politics :x

Seriously though...some sleeping dogs are best left alone and given a wide berth. I got punished too in time, although fer different reasons which I truly did deserve I admit and thats something Id like to avoid in the future. As punishments go, the last one hurt the most...considering they escalte from there, I dont wanna see what comes next so Im being extra well behaved nowadays...more or less...Im a rebel at heart doesnt matter what the system is or where, Ill always fight it but some fights are just not worth it m8 ^

As understatements go, thats hard to beat, but its so much worse than it sounds Im afraid. Its part of a trial I have to submit to if I want to keep qualifying fer a different drug called tecfidera, which is specifically used to target the immune system of people with multiple sclerosis. Last year, I had 6 lesions on my brain and 3 on my spinal column...last month I was told I now had 7 lesions on my brain and the strongest medication the nhs has isnt stopping it...slowing it down a little but not much so the good news is I can safely say I wont be needing a pension policy.

Unfortunately, Im not to be trusted around medication as I tend to self medicate cos Ive been doing it fer a long time and my threshold is much higher...what merely chills me out would put most people in the hospital and just what the doctors give me. When it comes to pain relief, I have almost unrestricted access to just about anything legal and most things illegal within ten minutes walking distance and a text message.

Losing access to the drug tec would be fairly disastrous however as it would almost certainly mean complete loss of mobility again and back to the chair again...I prefer to keep some dignity ergo I tend to have fewer worries over the legality...such things are more inconvenient than anything else. I gotta clean up my act basically cos they take bloods every week while Im on this trial. Its not my condition that bothers me right now...its the side effects of the drug...first week on the stuff has been pretty brutal.

Ye think boredom is the worst of yer problems in life? I wish I could say I was bored but however...on the plus side, I got to cash in my pension early while I still had the mobility to enjoy it. Glass half full and all that ^

All I'm going to say is have peace of mind. Worry when the robot tech is good enough to replace workers. By the way just been upgraded to 300 meg fibre to the premises and those jumps between stars seem ever so slightly faster. Don't get me on the bulletin board, how fast is that? Years of slow ADSL makes it seem instant.

Stop trying to take the Topic in that Direction pls.
Needless to say I think remembering that Discussion of Mod Actions is Prohibited as well.
(Also dont forget these guys are mostly Volunteers. They make mistakes as well. If you think the Punishment was Wrong. Appeal it on their Superior.)

I still think they should change the FSD Mechanics.
When Jumping to a System. You should Jump into the Far Side of the System Something between 500LS and 5000LS away from the Sun depending on how much Gravity the Sun has. And to Jump to the Next System you must neither cross nor be inside that 500 to 5000 LS Radius around the Sun. Meaning if the System is on the other Side of that System you first need to Cross that Systems Sun to the other Side of the System

That would give an entirely New Dimension and Size to this Galaxy. Instead of the Current situation where you simply cross 10 Solar Systems in 2-3 Minutes...

That situation is really bad. MS remits sometimes, but the medicines are a whole different story.

We just don't have anything that works. And we don't even know what methyl fumarate really does. At least you're not living where I am; resources are scanty here.
