How is it any different than two people getting together to perform a skit for their friends? As I already pointed out, unlike the developer, I stand to gain nothing from this. Even if I somehow gained a million views on Youtube, I can't make money off of it because I'm using copyrighted material and it does NOT fall under fair-use rules.

You seem to have misinterpreted my post, I was trying to draw a parallel between your request and FD's, you seem to be getting some flak for a few voiceovers, yet people are falling over themselves to make artwork for free for FD, who could well afford to pay for it.

I am pretty sure FDEV has their own designers who are capable of creating adverts themselves and asking the community to create one isn't about saving money but giving us the chance to leave our mark in game. But what do I know...
