Metallic Meteorites: Only 1 at a time now?

I've been doing some SRV prospecting and notice I only ever seem to find single metallic meteors. These used to be found three in close proximity to each other...
Has something changed or am I just having bad luck?

I wanted to see what others were experiencing before bug reporting this.

I've found up to three recently. But, similar to golden outcrops, they don't always drop the very rare materials. All too often, I only get common to very common. Rather disappointed with that. This may be a bug, though. At least it feels like one.

1-3, usually 1. It hasn't felt that different from 2.4, but maybe they have changed something.

Relogging seems to help, if you are only getting commons after having picked up some very rares, but that could be a myth in itself.

I'm still finding them in threes as well. More often singles but the threes do show up, seems the same rate as before.

No, definitly reduced in numbers - unless their locations have become more specific on planets.

I used to just drop down onto a Metal Rich planet & within 10mins I would have found at least two or three batches of three metallic meteorites. Each containing very rare minerals.

Now, when landing on Metal Rich planets, I'm lucky if I find one individual meteorite, after one hours searching.

I haven't changed ANYTHING on how I search out rocks on a planet. They are definitely now rarer to find than they used to be.

Bug report it is then.
Is there a list somewhere of what drops from the spire things at the Thargoid sites or is it random?
I had shed loads of the stuff I'm looking for when 3.0 dropped and can't seem to find any of it now!

Wow, I was never that lucky.. and you were always that lucky? Is it because you are a good person? I thought I was, but maybe it's cus I PvP.

They still pop up occasionally in groups of three (3) but that is much more rare than before. Now, single metallic meteorites are the more common. o7

Yeah that's me, a good person, hence the name.

But they were quite common on metal rich planets, now they seem to be greatly reduced.

This has been my post 3.0 experience as well.

That said, I landed for a scan mission last night on a rocky/icy and it was right next to 2 triple spawns!

SIX MM's almost entirely in scanner range.

Reading this thread, I am amazed that commanders have found them in threes ! I've always felt lucky to find them occasionally among the other types of rocks encountered.

The difference for me in 3.0 is that everything occurs more frequently. Maybe because I bought a few paint jobs recently? :)
