Yeah I'm waiting for the release on xbox. Plan on getting it.

I've just done a 'pirate killing mission', kill 12 pirates, don't do many of these but I needed mission reward articulation motors for guardian mods, took a couple of hours for about 3 million, ship kills and reward payment, and I enjoyed it so may do some more. Why does it have to be 'fast', enjoy the game

The fastest way to make money in the game is the same as it's always been: Find the pub where any FD devs drink; meet up with them; buy them a few drinks; slip £100 under the table. You can go instantly to 100 billion if you happen to have a compromising photo of any of the devs, especially if it involves animals, and that includes space loaches.
If there will be another "exploit" which involves passengers, I am afraid you will have to pay to complete them AND they will give you 50000k bounty and notoriety 7 on every scan while you do them. Surface scanning is a good example of nerf processes in this game.
Maybe its time to go out into the black for a rest and those nice cr when you get back

This thread is pretty interesting for me, 'cause right now i'm also looking for a place to settle down for a while and can rank up with the Federals and get a bit richer*.
Sunday i started searching for a hightech and refinery system wich is also with a population in the billions or at least surrounded by such systems.
I found one and started yesterday to rank up with the different Minor Factions.
Because i took lot of data delivering in a lot of different systems it needed a while but i got a feeling which systems have also missions back to my, temporary, home base, where i have stationed my menagerie i'm taking with me.
And it looks like it works out the way i hoped - delivering missions, assasination missions, mining missions andandand.
here i#m going to stay and go for what i wan.
*I'm playing this game, with a couple of longer breaks since 3 years and have justmade Elite in exploring, have 8 ships, the biggest ones are 2 A rated and engineered Pythons and 360 Millions cash.
No, i don't mention the game, nonono i won't do it :x [big grin]

best way to make money... is to stop playing the game & go out and get a job (or second job)
get back? to where??? there is a station at every nebula... why wait till you get back? they dont give more for distance anymore... its all flatrated (5% scale is nothing, especially with the cap)

Ive already clocked up half a million light years doing just that and ignored the grind fer two years...so all those guys who say just play the game...I already have and still ddnt have nice things unless I grind. I suppose next they will ask why I need nice things at all...

And there are also the mentioned missions. Like i said, the (almost) whole spectrum of missions is available.
But, because i'm not a very good pilot in fighting, i don't see a chance to master that wing missions for assasination.

Lol. Yeah that's normally the way it goes.
In the previous Combat CG... i earned 100mil and a Decal.
CG's are always great ways to make money.
It would depend on what ship you currently have at your disposal... but i've heard that doing Meta-Alloys haulage missions in the Pleiades is quite lucrative ATM
